Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson comes from a musically inclined family. As a child, she was inspired by the classical music of her parents, boleros as well as the traditional romantic, ranchero and romantic ballads. Ana is a fan of tangos, as well as the dramatic and opera performances. Her mother teaches her how to sing, however she started intensive vocal training with Flavio Belcerra at 16 when he was a renowned Mexican opera tenor. At the School of Music of Guadalajara University as well as the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico furthered her education in music. The singer performed throughout Guadalajara, Mexico City and different cities when she was a young musician and student. Following her move to California in United States in 2000, she joined the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus before moving to her present place in the southern part of California. She currently is a part of Ensemble XXI of Redlands and often performs as a soloist with the traditional Latin American music at private performances. Ana is involved in a variety of local initiatives and is a teacher and performer because of her enthusiasm of music and art. Ana is also a previous part of the Community Chorus of Redlands, the Inland Master Chorale, and the Performance Loft. Ana appreciates the opportunity to share her passion and love for traditional Latin American songs with others as she hopes to impart a desire, especially among younger generations to keep the music alive and alive.Viva Mexico!
