Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The Latin Pop mainstream has been impacted by his global popularity. The hit song from 2016 Una Lady Como Tu was winner of the Colombian Kids Choice Award for Most Popular Song in the year 2017. In 2017, he dropped ADN which was his debut long-player with La Industria Inc. in Medellin. In the Top Latin Albums chart, it reached no. 8. Vaina Loca the album that was the Top Five smash hit in 2010, also featured Noriel alongside Ozuna. He worked alongside Noriel in the song Mala Influencia in the year 2020, and the following year released his sophomore album the charting Dopamina. He appeared later in 2021 in a duet with TINI on her streaming hit song Maldita Foto. 2000 also saw the huge song La Bachata appeared in 2023. Turizo was raised within a musical family, since both his mom and younger brother are musicians. In his interviews, Turizo has declared that music is a must. He began playing the guitar, saxophone Ukulele, and piano while when he was a child. The initial goal was to become a vet however, his brother Julian convinced him to study to sing with an instructor from a Cuban instructor. It was the result that he realized his talent for singing and changed the course his life.
